IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FIREARMS
AS WE ALL KNOW, THERE IS A LOT OF MIS-INFORMATION FLOATING AROUND ABOUT FIREARMS.
Some comes from government officials, some from the media. They both twist the facts and create their own statistics to suite their agendas. Here is a link to a web site that has some very good information. You can download a booklet in PDF that you can read on your screen or save to disk and print. The booklet is around 100 pages. The author's copyright notice states that you may freely distribute the PDF file or printed copies as long as you do it for free and include the entire document. The author debunks many of the myths that the media and government are using to enact gun control legislation. PLEASE...visit this site, download and read the booklet. Pass this on to your friends.

CIFTA
(CIFTA...Inter-American Convention against the Illicit manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and other related material)
PLEASE...take a few minutes out of your busy lives to email, write, or call your senators. Obama and Holder are trying to get CIFTA ratified by the senate to begin the back door process of taking away your Second Amendment Rights. Even if you don't own a gun, this is very imporant.
Once your rights are gone you will never get them back!
Watch the LOU DOBBS VIDEO and then contact your senators. Get involved with what this administration is trying to do and when you disagree,
PLEASE SPEAK OUT.
THE ONLY THING OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS CARE ABOUT IS BEING RE-ELECTED, THEREFORE THEY WILL LISTEN WHEN YOU MAKE THE EFFORT TO MAKE YOUR FEELINGS KNOWN.
Here is the CIFTA document on the State Department web site.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
Here are links to two websites where you can send a Thank You to our men and women in the Armed Forces...
You can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and send it to someone currently serving in the military. You can send as many cards as you wish.
This is a Department of Defense website where you can get information about organizations who are supporting our men and women in uniform, view photos, and much more. You can type your own message to send and read messages sent by others.
The Appleseed Project is run by the Revolutionary War Veterans Association (RWVA). It is a history lesson on the battles of Lexington and Concord complimented by a marksmanship clinic where shooters can earn the "Rifleman" badge. It is a two-day event, however shooters can go to only one day if they desire.
Rifles used are usually .22 LR caliber, however centerfire can be used.
The Ruger 10/22 can be customized into the "Liberty Training Rifle" which is designed for this event, however any rifle is OK.
Events are held in most states. The 2011 schedule is on the Appleseed web site. More locations are being added all the time, so there will probably be one near you. You can sign up on-line or by mail.
