We will buy your used guns or take them in as trades on another gun.  We will offer you a fair price based on the make & model, condition, availability, and demand for your gun.  The offers we make are good for a trade-in or out-right purchase.  We will issue a check on the spot for any guns we purchase from you. GUN SMITH WANTED - ASK FOR A MANAGER

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON ILLINOIS CONCEALED CARRY

On December 11, 2012, the US 7th District Court of Appeals ruled that the State of Illinois must pass a concealed carry law in 180 days (by June 9, 2013). Of course, the State's Attorney General asked to appeal the ruling, but on February 22, 2013, the Court ruled that they would not rehear the case.

There is a bill introduced in the house on Jan 29, 2013 by Rep. Brandon Phelps (D), District 118.

NEW CLASSES COMING IN MAY!

Introduction to the AR-15.  For those who have just bought their first AR-15 rifle, we now offer two classes designed to familarize you with the operation and maintenance of your rifle.  Phase 1 is one hour long and costs only $20.00 if you bought a firearm from GAT GUNS within the last year.  Phase 2 is only $80.00 and is 2 hours long.  You can take both classes on the same evening.

Tactical Rifle Classes that will teach you the techniques you need to get the most out of your AR15, Mini-14 or other tactical rifle.

Tactical Pistol classes for those interested in honing their skills beyond the basics.
